LED applications

LEDs are everywhere

With the use of colored light, solid-state is already a viable alternative to conventional sources in many architectural and entertainment projects.

Millions of colors in a tiny package

The use of LEDs has become main-stream for the simple fact that colored filters or the use of multiple inefficient colored lighting sources aren’t needed to produce colors.

Quick on and off without sacrificing lifespan

LEDs are ideal in applications with frequent on-off cycles, unlike fluorescent lamps that shorten their lifetime when cycled frequently, or HID lamps that require a long time before restarting. On some lighting systems the fixture keeps a constant “lit” stage in order to provide quick on-off, but this is drawing energy while in a standby state.
